In my last post I addressed the case of former Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) teacher Adam Johnson, a convicted sex offender and his wife Rebekah, who is a teacher. She taught last year at Prestonwood Christian Academy, the same school in which her husband Adam offended. He was convicted in 2011 of an improper relationship with a student. Rebekah had to resign from PCA at the end of the fall semester last year after complaints by parents that she had facilitated a connection between her husband and the children in her class. She offered the kids drawings by her husband Adam as a reward.
Someone close to the survivor in that PCA criminal case reached out to share more information with me. Adam was a 27 year old married teacher at PCA when he groomed and then sexually abused a student who was 17 years old, a minor. Adam waited until the day she turned 17 to begin texting, which is premeditated and predatory. According to the District Attorney, Adam texted the victim over 500 times over the course of a few months. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and perform community service after pleading guilty to having an improper relationship with a Prestonwood student. Adam tried to connect with the victim through LinkedIn as soon as his probation was over. Rebekah, Adam’s wife requested her husband’s victim be her Facebook friend in the summer of 2024 after being hired at Prestonwood Christian Academy. These are not the actions of people who grasp the severity of his predatory sex crimes. It is also immature, insensitive and tone-deaf.
Rebekah Johnson is now a math teacher and cheer coach at Moore Middle School in Celina ISD. I am told that she has sisters that also teach at that school. One of her sisters is married to Gregg Moore, a teacher and coach at Celina High School. Gregg Moore’s grandparents are Jerry and Linda Moore, for whom Moore Middle School is named.
I received a message that it wasn’t just Prestonwood Christian Academy students that Rebekah Johnson had her sex offender husband Adam draw pictures for. Allegedly, this behavior started before that when she worked at Light Farms Elementary in Prosper ISD. That’s the school where her husband would allegedly randomly be on campus for field day etc., even though they had no kids enrolled there at the time.
A request was recently made for Adam Johnson’s arrest records from Frisco police department. The reply to that FOIA request states that these records are sealed, because this involved a minor. I do have the indictment records that I will include here.
Beware of attempts by Rebekah and Adam Johnson and their supporters to gaslight people into believing their narrative that minimizes Adam’s crimes, making Adam a passive participant rather than the active sex offender/perpetrator as the adult (married) 27 year old teacher.
Yesterday a woman commented on my Facebook post accusing me of a sex crime, because I shared the information about convicted sex offender Adam Johnson and his wife Rebekah.
