After my post spread widely on social media about registered child sex offender/ice cream truck driver in Haslet, TX, Jhawn Thompson, I have been receiving a lot of messages. I was informed today about former MLB player Thomas (Tommy) Whiteman. Tommy was charged in 2010 with sexual exploitation of a minor. He is on the Texas sex offender registry. He lives in Keller, Texas.
Tommy played at the University of Oklahoma before he played in the minor leagues and on to MLB with the Houston Astros and the Colorado Rockies.

Tommy also has previous domestic violence and assault convictions in Oklahoma.

Tommy Whiteman has a homeschool baseball coaching business as well as owns a baseball training facility. His website is Redemptive Sports which also lists one of his services is biblical counseling.

John Huffman, former mayor of Southlake, Texas is on the board of directors. His role oversees baseball and basketball. He is a former Texas state senate candidate in the three way special election before the runoff. He posted a photo of a THESA team playing Southlake Carroll High School.

His new profession working with kids would seem to violate conditions of his sex offender registration. Also, I will be making a report to Facebook as convicted sex offenders are not allowed on Facebook. It is a direct violation of Facebook’s Terms and Conditions.
If you come across a profile belonging to a convicted offender, you can report it directly to Facebook using this link.
