A pastoral intern at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas has been arrested on possession of child sexual abuse material charges. Garrett English was booked into the McClennan County Jail on July, 10, 2025.
Allegedly last month, investigators went to Harris Creek church to interview people at the church after the investigation was formally launched. Apparently Garrett had completed his residency in April, but his alleged crimes occurred while he was working part time at the church. He has possibly moved out of state, but I don’t know where he is now.
Harris Creek is a Southern Baptist church led by pastor Jonathan Pokluda.
