Yes, Watermark Church knew. They knew. They know. They platformed him as an ex con who was incarcerated for 9.5 years and is a lifetime registered child sex offender.
Before his arrest in 1995 in Las Vegas for child sex assault, he was featured on America’s Most Wanted after he fled Texas with his child victim. He was convicted in 1996 and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He had been a youth pastor at a church in Dallas, Skillman Church of Christ, and then a youth pastor at Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland, Texas. He met his victim at that church in Midland.
Chuck Adair is currently a pastor at Grace Place Church in Duncanville, TX. He also appears to still be teaching at Watermark Community Church in Dallas.
